USES
DP COAT is used as a mopping coat in damp-proofing or as binding asphalt in the construction of a damp-proofing system using roofing felt. A prime coat with BITUPRIME/BITUFAST over concrete is required before coating with DP COAT. Allow the primer to cure for 2-4 hours.

CLEANING
Tools : Clean with kerosene
Hands : Use a hand cleaner or kerosene followed by soap and water. 

DESCRIPTION
DP COAT is a premium quality, ductile coating manufactured from select bitumen and plasticizing oil blown to optimum softening point and penetration. 

STANDARDS
Complies with ASTM D449.

PACKING
Type I and Type II in 190-kg steel drums. Type III in kegs or poly amide bags.

HEALTH & SAFETY
1 . Fire - Non-flammable, flash point is above 225   °C. However, avoid overheating above flash   point as it could ignite. 
2. Skin- If contact occurs while hot, it could cause   severe burn. If contact occurs, immediately   cool affected area with cold water. It is   recommended that a bucket of ice water be kept   nearby. Seek medical attention.
3. Eyes - If contact occurs, immediately cool with cold water, then seek medical attention.
4. Protective clothing-Wear heavy cotton/ leather work gloves, long sleeve shirts, shoes, long trousers and eye goggles as face shield.
