This
company depends on its information from brokers on internet. Mr. Mehrdad
at his beginning cooperation used to transfer to us brokers internet requirements for BEBCO at
non-realistic prices with high discount such as US.$ 3.00 per MT, or D2 at discount of
US.$ 15.00 etc..
During
Aug 2002, Mr. Mehrdad was part of transaction for Fuel Oil contract where his
buyer Dr. J.
Dawood
from Istok
Co. L.L.C / UAE could not perform, and also we discovered
that this buyer Dr. J. Dawood was mandated
to broker
company too which was Lucksh
Group Of Companies
in UAE represented by Baqer M. Al Seidi whom both where introduced to us as buyers.
On
March 01, 2003 we received from Mr. Mehrdad an email confirming that he
sold 50,000 MT of Base Oil to a party on 10th Feb 2003, and he was
looking for more quantity. This message made us realized that this gentleman
is providing us with false information because such quantity cannot be
obtained from Iran and cannot be provided via one company or broker too. Therefore we ignored
his messages for a period of six months.
During
Sep 2003 and by Mistake,
our sales department sent to Mehrdad an offer for NIGC sulphur, at same
day Mr. Mehrdad phoned to Mr. Mohammed Aladdin the sales Manager of
BPO, and confirmed to him that his buyer in China is interested with our
sulphur offer at US.$ 75.00 C&F China, and he requested Mohammed to hold the
transaction for his buyer. Later at same day, he called Mohammed Again
and asked for FOB Price where Mohammed give him US.$ 57.00 including
US.$ 1.00 per MT as commission for him on FOB price. Mehrdad mentioned
during his Second conversation with Mohammed that he has
good link to Sapahan Oil and Tehran Refinery and he can get via
VIP there an offer for SN-500 Base Oil at
US.$ 340.00 FOB, while at that time the market price was about US.$
360.00, the reason Mr. M. Aladdin confirmed his purchase order
to Mehrdad in a condition that P. Invoice from supplier to be issued
directly to Blue Petrol Oil FZE and not to be through trader company.
But within less than 3 days Mehrdad faxed to us P.
Invoice issued to unknown trading company in Iran at US.$ 375
FOB and he started to push us to accept his new price.
Few
days later he came to us with requirement to purchase bitumen to Nigeria in bulk,
he added that he is able to obtain the bitumen but he is not able to
find vessel to load the bitumen lots. So we took his buyer order seriously
and reserved bitumen tanker through relative company, and could arrange
bitumen quantity via NIOC, but after few days Mehrdad came back to us
with information that his buyer did not accept our deal because of not
providing 2% P. Bond while finding and reserving a tanker to lift bitumen
in bulk is a large step itself, at
the time where there is only few tankers lifting bitumen from Iran and most of them
have long term shipping contracts at very high prices.
Few
days later he came to inform us that he is selling Bitumen at US.$ 162
CIF China in P. Bags, and that he is paying only US.$ 200
as shipping freight for 20 ft container from B. Abbas Port to China Port
which from our shipping experiences cannot be realistic shipping freight
at all meanings... even if he is considering to ship via duck bulk
without container the minimum shipping freight will be US.$ 360 for
20/tons from Iran to China and not US.$ 200.
Few
days later he came to us with an offer that he can via his VIP in Iran
obtain Sulphur from NIGC as ex-factory site, and because we were
interested to purchase more quantity than our contract with Iranian
refinery, Mohammed confirmed to him our interest. But as usual in few days
later he came with information that
one company in Iran purchased all NIGC output capacity for sulphur
products and that he saw the contract by his eyes. Also he was asking us
if we could accept to sell sulphur to his buyer at US.$ 68.00 per MT CIF
China while our offer to him was at US.$ 75.00 presuming that Sulphur
shipping freight from Iran to China is US.$ 16.00. while we are getting
the lowest freight at US.$ 18.00 per MT for vessel of 40,000 to 50,000
MT, and for less quantity the freight could reach up to US.$ 22.00 per
MT.
Therefore
Mr. Mohammed Aladdin sent him message requesting him to stop supplying
his buyers with non realistic prices, because that will confuse buyers
and effect on real market prices. Mehrdad replied to Mohammed Aladdin
message with immorality message.
Therefore,
our webmaster informed Mehrdad about BPO decision to black list him and
give him a period of 3 days to prove the genuine of his information by
providing us with real official documents, but Mehrdad kept with his
false reply and refused to supply the required documents presuming he
cannot disclose his sources.... for free.....
As
a results of above, BPO President instructed the webmaster to black list
Mehrdad to avoid buyers from falling into his scams web, false prices,
and wrong information and that in order buyers save their time and
efforts with false suppliers such as Mehrdad Sarkeshiki.
