This
company signed with us three purchase contracts for Lump Sulphur,
Naphtha, Gas Condensate all to Brazil Buyers. But Ms. Lopez could
not perform any contract with us for three months from the date of
the contracts.
Finally
she was discussing with us about ILCO for Brazil, so we requested
from her a Refinery Mandate Letter in order we can accept to sign
S&P agreement and to provide her buyer with Iranian Light Crude
Oil. She presumed that she has good connection with Petrobras
Refinery in Brazil and that refinery accepted to issue the required
mandate letter.
Few
days later we received from Ms. Lopez a Mandate Letter on Petrobras
Letterhead, and she promised to legalize the Mandate Letter from
Iranian Embassy & Ministry of foreign Affairs in Brazil, via her
partnership in Brazil "Mr. Antonio Batista" and to send to
us the original by "DHL".
One
month passed and we did not get the original, therefore we started
to verify the Mandate Letter directly with Petrobras and specifically with the signed parties on the Mandate Letter, whom
informed us that was not real and fake document.
