Mr.
James I. Ahmed signed with us two agreements for Syrian Heavy Crude
Oil, one for 12 cargos and second for 11 cargos, but he was unable
to perform with banking or even get Letter Of Interest from NNPC to
purchase the crude from us.
He
used always to explain his delay with non logistical excuses, such
as banker is traveling, NNPC is verifying about our company, etc...
Two
weeks passed with non real excuses from Mr. Ahmed, therefore we
informed him our intent to black-list his company. On same day of
our announcement and at 02:30 AM of 24th Jan Mr. Ahmed made
conference call via Ms. Dawn with Mr. Mohammed Aladdin (Sales
Operation Manager) and tried to convince him to delay selling the
contract to other party and not to enable any other party to
purchase the contract etc... and he offered to pay to Mohammed
Aladdin commission which is US.$ 1.00 per bbl for his assistance.
Mr. Ahmed assured to Mr. Aladdin that NNPC officer will fax to BPO a
request to verify the products with SYTROL same day early morning.
So Mr. Aladdin showed Mr. Ahmed interest and confirm his acceptance
to cooperate and at same time Mr. Mohammed informed the President of
BPO about Mr. Ahmed offer for commission.
As
per the instruction of BPO president to hold the contract for Mr.
Ahmed. for 24 hours, but neither NNPC called, nor fax message
received by BPO as per Mr. Ahmed's claims.
Always
during updating with Mr. Ahmed via Ms. Dawn about the process, we
used always to hear from him.. after one hour..., today ....,
tomorrow ....... now they will call ....... so three days passed and
there was no real paperwork presented by Mr. Ahmed or received by
NNPC which confirm his processing according to his agreement
obligations.
Recently
he sent request to defer laycan of first cargo from 01/03 Feb to
28th Feb as if we were owning SYTROL, and also requested to keep his
rights to receive cargo on FOB while he was insisting to receive
cargos C&F term to Logos port.
From
above facts BPO decided to publish him into herein black board, as
defaulter and waster of time.
