USES
APEXSEAL NS
has a thixotropic, non-sag formulation for joints from horizontal to
vertical. APEXSEAL may be used as an exposed joint sealant to most
types of building materials such as concrete, brick, glass, steel,
aluminum and wood. Typical uses are for crack control and sealing
joints in:

& horizontal building superstructures

Subways,
basements, floors, walls and roof coping.

Non-potable
water treatment works, culverts & reservoirs.

Bridges,
sea walls & roadways.

INSTALLATION
JOINT
DESIGN
Joint depth/width ratio must be 1 : 1 up to 12 mm wide (with a
minimum width of 6 mm). Actual width to be at least 4 times the
anticipated joint movement. For triangular fillets, contact with
each surface should be at least 10 mm.
PREPARATION

1.
Surfaces should be sound, clean, dry, free of dust or any other
impedance to full adhesion.

Always support by bond breaker, compressible backing strip or
other approved backer or filler.

The use of BITUMAT APEXSEAL PRIMER is recommended.
