Life contains allot of sad events, some are believable and some are frightful and incredible. The sorrowful of our story concerns a young man at 39 years old who was kidnapped from his family and ended his life just because he was very smart and successful businessman. Our story is about Mr. Aladdin Hasan Al-Bahri / Syrian who was kidnapped during his flight trip between Athens & Jeddah.

Introduction to Mr. Aladdin Al-Bahri Business:

     Bahri is the family name, which means the seaman. That name was linked to this Family because Hajj Hasan Bahri (Mr. Aladdin’s Father) used to rent Passengers ships (before occupations of Palestine) and carry Muslim to visit the holy land during Hajj month.

     Mr. Aladdin Bahri learned from his father the shipping business, so after his father death on 1963, Mr. Aladdin Bahri started sincerely to consider the Shipping and Oil Business. He started on 1970 jointly with Mr. Bahaa & Mr. Walid Basatneh and established a company “BABA Naft” in Beirut. The profits of their first contract was One Million Dollars, and within few months later “BABA Naft” benefits another Two Million Dollars, and before the end of first physical year the company made 14 Million Dollars which was generated only from crude business.  

       Being Mr. Aladdin Bahri well experienced in shipping and because his partners refused to join his new shipping activities, therefore and apart from “BABA NAFT” Bahri started alone to purchase vessels and sell his crude contract on CIF bases. So he established “Fadi Shipping” company (Fadi is his youngest son) and linked that company with 48 offices and branches around the world.

     Two years later his Partners “Basatneh” were not happy of Bahri shipping business because:  

1-  Basatneh realized that they made mistake of refusing his ex-offer for being partners with him on shipping business.

2-  Also there was another reason made “Basatneh” mad of Bahri Business that, he established new companies for trading and shipping oil jointly with Mr. Mazen Feroun and Ghaith Feroun (The sons of Dr. Rashad Feroun – who was the private doctor to King Faisal and later to King Khalid). Both Bahri & Feroun started to receive big contracts for crude oil from Saudi Arabia and other gulf origin and renting vessels to ARAMCO.

     One 1978 Mr. Aladdin Bahri charted a survey company to make geologic survey on Syrian Lands Via satellite. The results of that survey were positive he found good quantity of Crude & Diamonds. So he concentrated his efforts on Petroleum properties, therefore he appointed the land where the crude were available and purchased that land from the Syrian Government. Mr. Bahri Had very good relation with President Hafaiz Al-Assad, that allowed him to sign a drilling operations contract with the Syrian Government on Mr. Bahri own expenses, and both Syrian Government & Bahri agreed at flow-up of crude the benefits will be split 70 % to Syrian Government and 30% to Mr. Bahri Company.  

       At the last quarter of year 1978 Mr. Bahri purchase Rig from Shell and shipped it to Syria and signed contract with American drilling crew. He also registered his new drilling company in USA with branch in Syria under the name of “CODCO” so the drilling started during that year.  

     The most important point in that part was that, Syria was facing politics pressures from Washington upon Lebanon occurrences. So Syria was supposed to live under economic pressures from USA, that means discovering oil in Syrian lands will give powerful to Syrian Government which is against Washington wishes. Also during that period the relations between Syria & Egypt was disconnected (as all Arab countries) because of the visit of Anwar Al-Sadat (Egypt President) to Israel.

     During Second quarter of 1979, the American drilling crews and according to their USA Embassy instruction closed every well that shows Gas pressure, pretending wells were empty of oil. But Mr. Hassan Bahri the brother’s of Mr. Aladdin who was Petroleum Engineering and the G.M of drilling Operation understood the game. So he did not want to interrupt the drilling operations or to face American crew with the facts, in order they complete their contract with “CODCO” and finalize drilling till the last well.

     During The Third quarter of 1979 all the American drilling crews left Syria according to Mr. Bahri instruction after they finished their contract, and Mr. Bahri replaced them with Syrian crew who learnt drilling operations from the American crew. He gave his instruction to the new Syrian Crew to start from the beginning and to reopen the closed wells and get them drilled deeper. Finally the Crude flowed- up. That news was great and as expected by Mr. Aladdin Bahri who was in Athens at that time, so he asked his brother to fix a meeting appointment with President Hafaiz Al-Assad at the same day to inform him personally about the discovery results. President Assad was so much delighted at that news and started to feel comfortable about Syrian future especially Syria was living under great economic pressure from Washington. But Mr. Aladdin Bahri did not expect the discovery of Syrian oil would be the value for ending his life.

     At that short period between 1970 up to 1979 Mr. Aladdin Bahri properties were as follows:

1-    68 companies around the world.

2-    72 Crude oil vessels.

3-    30% share of Syrian Crude oil.

4-    Joint Venture Partnership with refinery in Italy.

5-    Lands & buildings in different part of the world.

6-    Second largest boat in the world.

7-    Private Jet.

8-    1200 employees.  

The Black Day:

     On 11^th August 1979, Mr. Aladdin Bahri farewell his wife with his five young boys and one daughter at their house in Athens because he received invitation to sign important and largest contract with “ARAMCO” for charting vessels from "Fadi Shipping" against purchasing crude oil at special discount. But he did not know it will be his last valediction to his family.

     At Athens Airport his private Jet “LEARGET-35 A” (N-711 U.A.F) was waiting for him with his Norway assistance Mr. Peter Simmer (Vessels Charting Manager) and his British secretary, also with Jet crew whom was composed of Captain with his assistance from France, and German Lady as airhostess.  

      Later within less than hour the private jet of Mr. Bahri was flying on its pass to King Abdul-Aziz airport / Jeddah. But few hours later Mr. Bahri Office in Athens received a message that Mr. Bahri Jet was disappeared over the Egyptian Sky, and that the Egyptian Airport Tower did not communicate with Bahri Jet because it was not shown on their flight monitors (that what they informed us). The air force engineering at the Egyptian airport tower explained the mysterious disappear of Mr. Bahri Jet could be referred to one of the following cases:  

1- Either there was technical problem in the jet:

The investigations proved that Bahri Jet was just arrived back from Germany after new overhaul and services and it was 100% ready to fly.

2- Or Bahri Jet was flying at the high of more than 45,000 ft so passengers and flight crew will die being out of  Oxygen :

The investigations proved that the captain and his assistance were from the best crew with long period of flying experience to same type of private jets and commercial airplanes.

3- Or Libyan air fighters forced Bahri Jet to land in Libya:

The investigation proved that Bahri jet was flying on its pass over Egyptian sky far away from Libyan sky, and supposes Libyan air fighters attacked Bahri Jet the Egyptian monitors should record that accident, which they did not. Moreover, Mr. Bahri personally had very good connection with the Libyan President so there is no reason for such attack.

4- Or Israel shouted Bahri Jet with rocket:

Bahri Jet was carrying USA flag and it was registered at USA being Mr. Aladdin Bahri was carrying American Passport, so as the results of USA investigations with Israel was negative. 

      France, England and Germany started to search about its citizens therefore they requested Israel Government to help with some information. Israel provided these countries with some information that prove the disappear of Bahri Jet was a kidnapping case and not accident. Some of these indications were a voice chatting between Egyptian Airport Tower and Bahri Jet (Which Egypt ignored) and another voice chatting between Bahri Jet and Mr. Mazen Feroun Jet !!?? also over the Egyptian sky.

      At the first day of Mr. Bahri Jet disappear Bahri Family charted American Survey flight (C-130) on their own expenses to search about Bahri Jet. The flight C-130 crew calculated the loaded jet fuel from Athens Airport to the point where Bahri Jet was disappeared and started from that point all over the Egyptian land till Libya & Sudan cast-board. But unfortunately no signal was catch by (C-130) from Bahri Jet and also they did not even find any indication that could prove Bahri Jet was crashed, or even catch the automatic signal that any airplane provide at disaster occasion. 

        All the above indications proved that Bahri Jet was forced to land “ But where, how and what exactly happened?? All these questions were without any answer.

      From Year 1979 up to the end of year 1980 Bahri Family started to clear up all Mr. Aladdin Bahri Business as the value to release Aladdin Bahri according to the instructions Bahri Family received from hidden connection through his Brother Fawaz.  Therefore Bahri family sold all Aladdin’s companies at One Million Dollars to his ex-partners “ Basatneh” !! ??, while the net profits generated by one of Aladdin's companies was 70 million American Dollars. Also Aladdin’s vessels were sold some by Bahri Family and some through the banks. Money did not mean much to Bahri Family; they only concentrated and wanted their son “Aladdin Bahri” to be back to his big family.  

      After the clearing up of Aladdin properties and companies which his family accepted to be the release value of Aladdin, up to 1989 Bahri Family were waiting the promise of releasing Aladdin and they were expecting him any time, but it was useless waiting.  

      During that period Anwar Sadat / President of Egypt was kidnapped, and new Egyptian government shown up, so the hidden connection requested his family to accept the announcement that Aladdin Bahri was facing court judgment and that he was spending the court charges period in jail. His brother Fawaz inquired them to clarify what type of charges they will announce to release Aladdin, they replied the charges will be International Falser. Therefore Mr. Fawaz Bahri refused his brother to be released with bad reputation that would harm his sincere, especially his brother Aladdin was very straight, honest, clean & clear person, and all who knew Aladdin Bahri learned from him how to become gentle.

      Mr. Fawaz tried hardly to convince that connection to allow him meet with his brother Aladdin and to discuss with him the solution to get him released, but all his efforts were down. Being the type of kidnappers and their Leaders are from the type of dirty murders, they kept informing Fawaz at every meeting that his brother Aladdin is setting in next room hearing and watching him, which made Fawaz loses his health, that because his brother is closed to him and he is not able to surround and protect him. President Al-Assad, and King Khalid helped Fawaz with their connection to get Aladdin released, but being at that time all Arab Leaders communications were disconnected with the country whom was arresting Aladdin as per the instruction from the country who wants to be the leader of the world (!!??) therefore all efforts were negative.  

         On 1982 Fawaz died during Ramadan, and the connection was cut because he was the only person allowed to follow the subject of releasing his brother. So after few months of Fawaz death, We read in Ahram News Paper (Egyptian News Paper) that a private Jet “LEARGET-35 A” (N-711 U.A.F) was found crashed in Minya desert.

      Next day two of Aladdin Brothers with his two sons charted a jet to Egypt to check about that news especially the announced Jet code was referred to Aladdin Bahri Jet. At Cairo Airport next day, they found more than 30 representatives from the Jet manufacturing company with insurance representatives and other air flight expert people were waiting the Egyptian military helicopter to lift them to the Jet crash land (as they call it). From overview to the land that contained the pieces of Aladdin Jet you can discover easily the smell of murder.  At examining the parts of Bahri Jet, with Jet total out view, and the disappearing of the BLACK BOX !!! all these indications made the visitors to crashed land had the same impression that it was fabricated accident executed by inexperienced movie actors because:

1-  The Jet paint did not scratch.

2-  13 years have been passed at high desert temperature and Jet paints did not change !!.

3-  If it was normal accident where is the Black Box ??

4-  13 years have been passed and nobody discovered the Jet while it was found at 35 Km from main road. And the area is closed to Arab nomads. 

5-  13 years have been passed and the desert sands did not cover the Jet or even get it disappeared under sands, while at that day only few centimeters where under sands.

6-  Why C-130 flight did not discover the Jet during its survey over the Egyptian lands.

7-  If it was a normal accident why they requested Aladdin Family to clear up his properties and companies.  

As       As the results of what was seen and to the indications that had been linked with the discovery of Aladdin Jet, we realized that the age of this fabricated movie was just few days before Ahram News Paper announce about the discovery of the Jet.  

          We are mentioning this sad event into our website because Mr. Aladdin Bahri is Wassim Zarka Uncle “his mother’s brother” whom he loved very much and whom he will keep remembering him forever. The disappearance of his uncle Aladdin Bahri caused deep life upsets to Wassim Zarka, because he feels the kidnapping to his Uncle as kidnapping to Wassim’s life, and beside the relative relationship, Wassim and his uncle, he used to consider his Uncle Aladdin as his greatest teacher. Wassim believes also that the kidnapping of his uncle Aladdin was also great loses to all Arab countries being they lost one of their sons who was the smartest in Oil Business and who could become one of the world famous people.  

             Of course between lines of the above story we have hidden huge of information, which we do not want to disclose, but as short message Wassim wants to forward it to the kidnappers and their leaders;

    “You dirty killers could succeed to end Aladdin Bahri life, but you will not be able to erase his story from his family hearts. All who knew Aladdin personally or whom heard about him, will keep informing all the coming generations about the story of Aladdin Bahri whose story is written into historical pages wrote on golden sheets under the title of “Famous Moved The World”. But what about you dirty killers?? One day you will die as everyone or be killed!! and your life will be ended, but who will write about you killers?? your death will be as the death of insects and will be thrown into historical rubbish basket, nobody will hear about it.
